It was a Saturday morning and I was up almost 8 am. Wanted to go for a jog but this guy woke up and wanted to be fed! Daddy was still sleeping and would have to sacrifice his sleep if I went. So stayed around with Macolm, fed him milk till it was time for me to get change. Our neighbours Cuiling and Marilyn planned for breakfast outing after their pilate lesson so that the kids could play together. We got changed and Daddy had to wake up as Malcolm was crying and looking for me while I was bathing.
Ping just came back from her Pilate class and Malcolm was clinging on to him. She decided to join us while Daddy stayed back to do housework as he wouldn’t want to be involved in our ‘all women’ gathering. We dropped by post office to send off a big parcel before making our way to Mac.
Once there, it was fun to watch the bunch of kids….3 girls 1 boy…met, held hands and walked together to the biggest MacDonald we have in Singapore. Malcom was the youngest. The waitress had to take orders from us and serve the food to our table. Malcolm was greedy! Ate a bit of everything…choco chip muffin, hotcake, harsh brown and drank ice Milo. The older girls were a bit distracted with the big playground just right in front of us.
The kids couldn’t wait to finish their breakfast and soon we were making our ways to the playground. The sun was hot as it was almost 11 am. We found a shady spot and Marilyn was thoughtful enough to bring some toys to let the kids played with the sand. The kids were kept occupied with the toys while we chatted away. We will definitely miss them when we leave Singapore.
It was a fun and relaxing morning but the big regret was that I forgot to bring along the camera, else there will be many beautiful and memorable shots….so can’t share the photos…but I guess all these will be beautiful memories for everyone of us
