it is new year present opening session for all the kids
mal busy entertaining friends in his little bedroom…realise his bed is missing?? it was put to better use in the study room for all the nursing mums
The party started at 5.30pm and it was considered a bit early. Was expecting people to arrive late but surprisingly everyone was very punctual. At 5.30pm sharp the guests started to arrive. We were kinda busy so left out a lot of great shots such as guest arriving pics, the spread for steamboat pics etc. However we still managed to find time to take some when everyone was fully fed and chilling out in the living room, dining area and mal’s bedroom. Some of them stayed till 12 to do the count down as Mummy bought some party poppers. Just before midnight, Daddy showed off his culinary skills when he took all the left over beef and stir fried. Those who were supposedly full from all the cookies and steamboat, obviously couldn’t resist the fragrance of the dish as within minutes, 2 plates of stir fried beef were gone. oh…Mummy’s cookies were ‘hot’ too…cos the 6 tins of cookies that we baked were almost all gone by the end of the night. It was a great way to start a brand new year and we certainly do not mind doing this again
