Mal is back in school for a short 3 hours every morning. Some people asked me why I did not send him for the full day school so that I have more time to shop, rest, pamper myself and basically enjoy the parisian life.
My answer could be the lunch in school that doesn’t suit his taste, the cold beds that they do their afternoon naps, the teachers whose patience and energy were sapped dry…
With him back in school, I have some time for myself.
Grocery shopping, read a book over coffee, go for morning jog or simply
kick off my shoes,
bare my feet and let the morning dew kiss my toes.
And think to myself,
‘how good if Mal is with me now’
I can truly understand this part. To get the child to ‘suffer’ (the food and cold bed, etc) while mommy have fun? Nah…I’m not for it too!
