Monaco

Monaco, the 2nd smallest country in the world, still run by kings and queens. A half an hour train ride from Nice brought us to a luxurious looking train station, with granite walls and marble floor, still smelling new. This wealthy little kingdom is a tax haven, where there is no income tax for individuals, which is why many wealthy businessmen and celebrities ‘seek refuge’ here.
Like Nice, this place is characterized by its ochre-coloured facade and narrow lanes, many selling Formula One souvenirs, after the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, held annually in the streets of Monaco. Again, this is also the place to spot hunks and babes with nice golden tan, clad in white linen outfits. A huge change from Paris, where black seem to be everyone’s favourite.
