Sunday Bake – Blueberry Galette

On Sunday, I baked my family something french

They call it a galette but if you ask me, it is a tart

It turned out pretty well considering that it was my first attempt at baking galette / tart

A buttery and crusty pastry filled with goodness of fresh juicy blueberries

A perfect solution to my few boxes of blueberries that were too sour for consumption

Best served with a pot of good English tea

Enjoy !

hi rachel, hmmm…nice. shall try to give this a shot when i’m free. agree with u, somehow the blue berries we get in the supermkts nowadays become sour very quickly. but does sour blueberries make for good ingredients in the galette? love your recipes – u make them sound so easy *wink*

hey Yi Huey, I wouldn’t mind sour blueberries cos sugar is use and I prefer my tart to be not too sweet…so if the fruit is alittle sour, it’s good 🙂 try it, it’s easy
